The CIPE Europe and Eurasia (E&E) Department is committed to addressing challenges to democracy in the Europe and Eurasia region through innovative and localized approaches that focus on advocacy, civil society, and market-oriented democratic reform. The Intern will work closely with CIPE’s E&E team to assist with research on digital economy trends in the three countries of South Caucasus: Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) strengthens democracy around the globe through private enterprise and market-oriented reform. CIPE is one of the four core institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy and an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Since 1983, CIPE has worked with business leaders, policymakers, and civil society to build the institutions vital to a democratic society. CIPE’s key program areas include enterprise ecosystems, democratic governance, business advocacy, anti-corruption & ethics, and trade.

Timeframe: Spring 2022 (anticipated start date: early February 2022)

Spring 2021 interns will have the option to work in a hybrid format (from the CIPE office and remotely) or fully remotely. This is a paid internship with part-time hours.
